My name is Jennifer Blacklock Lowe and I live in a small town in Vermont where I grew up. I’m married and between us we have six wonderful children and seven grandchildren. I love to do things with my family and friends, do crafts, read and travel especially to the ocean to take walks on the beach.
What is your art based upon, such as medium? Most of what I create is done with fiber art items wool, wool felt, wool fabric, and yarn.

What was your inspiration to get started? A dear friend getting me to go to a craft class with her at a difficult time in my life. I found that creating made me smile and gave me purpose.
What do you love about being an artist? My favorite part of being an Artist is the joy I feel when someone buys my items and takes them home to enjoy!

What are some challenges of being an artist? The biggest challenge I have is finding time to make enough product to sell!
Advice for aspiring artists? Make sure you create things that make you happy so that you always enjoy doing it! Also, don’t be discouraged if someone doesn’t like what you create because not everyone is going to love what you create. Find a group of craft people to join so that you have a source to interact with for information and help.
